This morning, I went to sleep at 8am. I then woke up at 10:30, shaved, showered, and went to work for 6 hours.
Upon arriving home, I spent some time with my girl, and decided to try to go to bed at around 7:30-8, truthfully, I'm not sure if I actually slept, as right now, at 3:30am I don't feel like I have, yet I can't sleep.
I "woke up" at about 1am, unable to get back to sleep and I don't know why.

This leads me to believe I'm developing insomnia, which isn't something I want to have again.
I've had it before, and back then it wasn't coupled with a fear of death nor a stomach problem. I'm not sure if I'm getting better at all, I'm eating too randomly to know if I'm hungry or not, and I'm in a constant state of discomfort.

While this may seem like I'm whining, I'm really at a loss for what to do about it. I know my body is tired, I can feel it, yet my mind will not calm to the point to allow me to fall into a deep sleep. My sleep earlier was random, at best.

I just want to be able to feel good for one whole day.

Please, grant me that.

So today is Christmas day, and I had planned to spend it alone for the most part, with Jenny spending time with her family and whatnot.
It was ok, I could deal with that.
I could deal with thinking that there wasn't anything for me there, and that it was just another day to be passed by.
But no.
Jenny came home with the information that there were indeed gifts there for me, I hadn't gone for the initial opening of the presents because I want to avoid conflict today, of all days.
But she comes home with an ultamatum from her family.
Either I go, or I don't get said gifts.
What kind of sick shit is that to pull on christmas day FFS? How can you mess with someone's head like that?
I'm nowhere near my family, as fucked up as they are, or my friends.
I don't have anyone to sit around the tree/table with and laugh and joke about life and the season.
I spend this time alone, I don't want to hurt more than I already do, yet people seem driven to "put me in my place" and make me accepts gifts I wish they hadn't gotten for me.
I don't feel at home here in this city, away from my friends and life of 11 years, I don't feel complete, and on the same note, I won't leave Jenny, because I wouldn't feel complete then either.
I know how hard she tries to make me feel better, and I wish I could just.....let it happen, but it just doesn't work today.
Today I'm weak, today I want to cry, to simply fade from the world and have nobody spare a thought my way.
I was woken up today by a phone call from an old friend, and that made my day until I learned of this "problem" I now have.
